Sheila has been doing artworks all of her life, mostly painting and drawing. She had her first gallery show in 1975. She has studied at the following schools of art: Burnley School of Art, in Seattle, Washington Honolulu Academy of Arts, Honolulu, Hawaii Hoschschue fur Bildende und Kunst, Berlin, Germany and Frei Academy Art Psychopolis, The Hague, Holland. She's thankful to have paintings in art collections internationally. She has worked in ink, oils acrylics, and sculpture, but watercolor is her greatest love. She invites you to enjoy these artworks. She paints them because she is IN AWE at the beauty of our earth – its endless and ever changing clouds, water, sky, forests and mountains. When she paints these landscapes, she sits at her easel and allow herself to enter into a quiet space of no thought. She makes a mark and the painting begins to appear on the empty white paper. She tries to keep up with its birthing. If you wish to contact her, Sheila’s email is [email protected]. Click on the images below if your are interested in purchasing Sheila's work. |
