Minh Rosen

Minh is originally from Vietnam with a background in music and has retired from her long technology teaching career in the New York City public schools.  Following their son, Minh and her husband relocated to Washington state ten years ago and are now residing in Snoqualmie. Minh still plays the piano and has an art studio in her home.  Although her main interest is watercolor, Minh enjoys exploring all mediums. Minh is not afraid of bold colors as she likes her paintings to be lively and engaging; she loves the colors and textures in yarns and of the wools in blankets and in the baskets that she crochets and tries to incorporate their patterns and colors into her paintings, such as in her subjects’ clothing and surroundings.  Minh’s favorite things to paint are people, pets, and florals.  Minh always welcomes new perspective and ideas for her art as she continues exploring and learning.
