 Bonnie is inspired by nature that surrounds her, but also travels to astonishing places one must see to believe. All she needs to be creative is a sunset, sunrise or stars. When she travels, she’s a photographer capturing the unique landscape scenes she visits. When she returns home to her studio, she turns to oil painting to capture her memories of nature and the outdoors. Bonnie was born and raised in Seattle, WA and now resides in North Bend. She has been painting for over 30 years and has a BFA with honors from Cornish College of the Arts. She is influenced by the landscape work of Georgia O’Keefe, as well as the surrealist artists, René Magritte, and Salvador Dali. Bonnie shows her work regularly and is a collective member of the Art Gallery of SnoValley. She is also a member of the Mt. Si Artist Guild. You can find her teaching solvent-free oil painting classes at the North Bend Art and Industry.
