"Sketchbooking with Nature" with artist Laurie Kathleen Clark
Laurie will guide us through the process of creating a sketchbook of the Robin.
During the class, you will learn to use watercolor paints to document interesting and remarkable
facts about birds in your foldable sketchbooks. You will paint the Robin’s feathers,
the type of nests they build, and what their eggs look like. You will explore ways to
make your pages more interesting. You will explore how to make quick sketches
and renderings about your bird.
In addition to the in-person lessons, you will receive a QR Code to access a list of supplies,
a downloadable PDF version of class information, 4 bonus demonstrations on YouTube,
a file of reference images to use later to complete your sketchbook.
It is expected that you may only complete 3-4 pages in your sketchbook
during class. The rest of the pages will take more time and will be up to you.
All materials needed for this class will be provided.

Have you always wanted to learn the art of linocuts? Or do you already know the basics and want to learn more? If so, then this is the workshop for you. Students will learn the basics, as well as additional techniques including rainbow roll!
