 Vincent Van Gogh once said: “I dream my painting, then I paint my dream.” Mity’s work is a similar process. “Painting is a dream”, she says, a dream she sees “with color in her eyes”. Mity is a dentist by profession and artist by passion. Like all women she wears many hats, the two that she most enjoys are being a mother and an artist. Since her childhood days, art has been her way of enjoyment and to feel comfort. Mity loves to do oil painting; but recently she started to use glass and clay as her canvas. She also uses oil, acrylic, alcohol, and water-based colors in her paintings. She complements her art with textures from modeling paste, fabrics, and various other natural elements. She experiments on varied levels and each time she enacts a magnificent piece of art. Mity’s paintings are on exhibition in various galleries in Seattle.
