​Julie Marcelia lives and creates in Issaquah, WA.  Primarily an acrylic artist, she finds the expressive vehicle of paint transformative and extremely satisfying. Her award winning paintings can be found in collections throughout the Pacific Northwest. 
 
“As I create with paint, my goal is to make unique artwork of long-lasting interest and enjoyment. My processes are never static but are always evolving as I explore, observe, and interpret my experience into painting. I especially love color and texture, and enjoy varying the scale  as well as the brushstroke. Invariably, I find the expressive vehicle of paint transformative and extremely satisfying!”
