The Art Gallery of SnoValley is in the News

Charlie Hoopman, Two Rivers Big Picture High School student, whose passion for art gave him the initiative to reach out to the Art Gallery of SnoValley for an opportunity to shadow someone as part of his sophomore education, walked through the gallery doors at the exact right moment. He had the good fortune to meet local artist/Gallery Volunteer, Gayll Morrison, who not only agreed to a shadow day, but ultimately an internship at the Gallery. Her mentorship and encouragement, and Charlie's willingness to learn where the perfect formula for success. Charlie's weekly volunteer experiences included: helping customers with their art purchases, the display of artwork, and having conversations about a wide range of artistic subjects. Gayll took the internship to the next level, helping Charlie through the process of designing his own piece of artwork which is on display at the gallery and available for purchase until the end of the June.
