Pastel Painting With Laurie Clark
What better way to immerse yourself in the Northwest Spring than to learn how to paint Cherry Blossoms with Owls using pastels! The class is in person with Laurie Clark. It is from 10-4PM (with a lunch break) on Saturday March 23, 2024. Class will be held at the Old Snoqualmie Library (38580 SE River St, Snoqualmie, WA 98065, next to Snoqualmie City Hall). You will paint an image of a barred owl in a cherry tree from a photo reference by local wildlife photographer Michael Crowe. In the first part of the you will be practicing mark-making directly on the painting, to get you comfortable with the cherry blossom background. The second part of the class will be devoted to the Barred Owl. If you do not finish, never fear! The class will be recorded and virtually available to all students following the class. Class size is 10 students, Ages 15 and up and is Beginner-friendly. All supplies will be provided.
