Sand Dollar Shore- Colograph (Archival Framed) - Diane Sarr - 425.00 - 25.5 x 19.75
Inspiration for Diane Sarr’s art comes from nature found in places she has lived or traveled. Those brief take away moments end up as the visual memory of seasons spent with connections to man’s influence on our surroundings and nature. Diane grew up in Michigan earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Michigan State University. Following an Artist in Residence, membership in local Ann Arbor Gallery and a graduate assistantship for Studio Art Studies at the University of London, Diane moved to the Northwest. Her work in Washington has included ten years in Layout Design, Art Docent coordination in public schools and ten years of teaching High School Drawing and Graphic Design. These experiences and her efforts to capture the essence of nature have resulted in minimalist approach in a series of illustrations with maps and hand rubbed colored collographs on black paper. Diane’s art has been exhibited in juried shows throughout Western Washington to include Northwind Art Center in Port Townsend, Schack Art Center in Everett, Bemis Building in Seattle as well as local area City Halls, and Collaborative galleries. You can reach Diane by phone at (206) 498-2209, email at firstname.lastname@example.org, at her website at www.dianesarr.com or at the Art Gallery of SnoValley
