Meet May/ June Featured Artist Charlene Burley

​Charlene began painting watercolor more than 15 years ago after visiting Daniel Smith’s Art Store in Seattle. She followed several local artists such as Ann Breckon, Kay Barnes and Mary Gibbs. From those early years she developed a style of strong colors in her work. She loves exploring new subjects. Charlene now provides instruction for beginning and intermediate levels of watercolor. She is a member of the Northwest Watercolor Society, South Hill Artists and Mt Si Artist Guild. She is a collective member of the Art Gallery of SnoValley, serves on the Northwest Watercolor Foundation board, Art for Kids and Healing Arts Program at Overlake Hospital. Charlene also serves on the Mt Si Artist Guild board. Charlene has been with the Art Gallery of SnoValley since 2017
