Did you know that Art Gallery of SnoValley is backed by the non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization Mt. Si Artist Guild (MSAG)? MSAG does business as Art Gallery of SnoValley. It is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster and promote the visual fine arts through encouragement, education and events. Our Gallery Member Collective is comprised of watercolor, acrylic, and oil painters, photographers, sculptors, woodworkers, mixed media and jewelry artists. All Collective Members are volunteers and are encouraged to share their expertise with the public either by demonstrating their art or teaching a free or low-cost class. Our goals have always been to integrate art into the fabric of our community, maintain a peaceful, happy and beautiful gallery space, attract quality artists and make Downtown Snoqualmie an art destination for all ages and income levels.
We have no paid employees. All of us contribute to the Gallery by working shifts, coordinate quarterly display rotations, do demos, teach classes, pay bills and taxes, and chair monthly gallery meetings, to name a few. We all also pay rental fees to display our work in the gallery; however, this does not completely cover our Operating Expenses. We need your financial support to continue to bring quality art, low-cost or free classes to all. Six $50 donations will pay a teacher for a 3-hour class. A $100 donation will pay for supplies for a 6 person class. A donation of $140 pays for room rental for 3 hours.
